Volvo has opened a new studio for its latest electric vehicles at London’s Brent Cross shopping destination.

The move marks the first time that Volvo has displayed its electric vehicles at a UK retail destination as aims to ‘become all-electric’ by 2030.

It also underpins Hammerson’s plans to reposition and future-proof Brent Cross with more experiential, entertainment and leisure brands.

As part of Volvo’s new showcase experience, customers will be able to book a test drive, place an order for a new car and discover purchase options, including the all-inclusive Care by Volvo subscription service.

Hosted in partnership with Endeavour Automotive, the 2,045 square foot Volvo Studio has a Scandinavian look and will have Volvo’s range of Recharge battery electric models on display. This will include the fully electric version of the brand’s best-selling XC40 compact SUV.

The partnership comes just 12 months after Hammerson and Aberdeen Standard Investments, joint owners of Brent Cross, installed 50 of a planned 236 EV charging points at the destination.
