Candidate counselling and outplacement services

Being made redundant can be one of the  most traumatic events in our working lives  — particularly for people who have been in  their jobs or with the same employer for  many years. 

A lot of employers will provide basic counselling but, invariably, when redundancies occur the organisation is being overwhelmed by the cause of the redundancies, leaving you feeling undervalued and depressed.  

And yet, some basic guidance and support can make all the difference — leaving you feeling appreciated, valued and looking forward to your next opportunity. Moreover, it will help you get re-employed; and that is the most important aspect of outplacement and career counselling. 

You’d be forgiven for thinking that a recruitment consultancy would provide this level of service to their candidates as a matter of course. But, the reality is, they work to fill their clients’ vacancies and can only interview candidates who appear to fit that brief. So, you may not even make it as far as an interview with a consultant if your CV is outside that brief. 

RHR’s counselling and outplacement service provides the guidance and support to get you in the best possible position to tackle the job market — whether you do it direct or go via an agency. The basic option costs £2999 and will include an hour of career counselling plus advice on two modules of your choice. Extra modules are also available, if required, for £900 each. The sessions can be face to face or by video conference.
