Superdrug has teamed up with long-term charity partner Beauty Banks to launch The Beauty Gift Appeal.
The campaign aims to encourage shoppers who can to donate any unwanted beauty and hygiene gifts to people in need this Christmas.
Beauty Banks have seen an unprecedented increase in the need for donations throughout 2022, with usage up between 60% and 80% compared to previous years. The charity says thousands of families have been forced to access a charity service for the first time this year due to the rising cost of living.
This December, Superdrug and Beauty Banks have partnered to enable shoppers to donate gifts and hygiene products to The Beauty Gift Appeal in over 100 Superdrug stores across the UK. The products most needed include; genderless shower gels and soaps, moisturisers, hairbrushes and hair products, male-grooming items such as shaving gel, sanitary products and nappies. The charity would also like to see donations of Christmas gifts such as bath and grooming sets.
Superdrug customers will be able to drop off items at a ‘Beauty Spot’ donation point in their local Superdrug store.
