Sports Direct has closed eight Jack Wills stores after acquiring the business earlier this month.
The affected locations include Derby, Durham, Kingston-upon-Thames, Marlborough, Reigate, Rock, St Albans and Tunbridge Wells.
There could be more closures on the horizon if landlords refuse to reduce the rents.
Sports Direct bought Jack Wills out of administration after the retailer struggled against cashflow pressures and tough trading conditions on the UK’s high streets.
