After opening a concession in Selfridges London two months ago, Smartech is set to expand its consumer tech retail hub with the opening of a new concession in Selfridges, Manchester Trafford Centre. The store will launch on November 5th.

Smartech said the Manchester store will offer the same experience as its London store with a collection of new technology for customers to explore and try before they buy.
Products on offer will include the Ring smart doorbell, the Bluesmart smart luggage and the TrackR tracking device that helps people to find lost items.

Smartech has also introduced a new set of brands as it looks to expand its portfolio; these include the MergeVR Goggles virtual reality headset for smartphones, RIF6’s mini projector, Cube, and the British Gas smart heating brand, Hive.

Smartech’s chief executive, Nathalie Bernce said: “We opened our first store in Selfridges London in August and it has been successful beyond our dreams. We’re privileged that Selfridges acknowledges the added value and uniqueness of Smartech, and are proud to be associated with the best department store in the world.

“With an outstanding customer experience and an amazing location, we’re thrilled to continue our vision to make Selfridges in Manchester a destination for innovation.”
