Selfridges is encouraging customers to keep products in circulation for longer by organising an event called Worn Again that will run from April to August.

The department store’s ambition is that 45% of transactions will come from circular products and services by 2030 through its Reselfridges, its Resale, Rental, Repair, Refill and Recycle initiative.

Worn Again will invite customers to explore Reselfridges at scale through a mix of experimental circular destinations, products, services and experiences in Selfridges’ London, Manchester and Birmingham stores and at Selfridges.com.

These will include the staging of a creative atelier concept with Marine Serre, the introduction of a second hand fashion and lifestyle destination called The Edit by Reselfridges, the addition of a new sub brand from Coach focused on circular craft, and a Swap Shop series. There will also be a charity car boot sale, an outdoor furniture fair, and a reimagined Stock Market in Selfridges’ Corner Shop, where items can be valued, traded, repaired or upcycled.
