Procter & Gamble is to acquire the Tula skincare company as part of plans to expand its portfolio of upmarket beauty brands.

Founded by Dr Roshini Raj alongside, Bobbi founder co-founder Ken Landis and tech entrepreneur Dan Reich, Tula makes certified cruelty free beauty products including cleansers, moisturisers, masks and products for problem skin. Products are made using 100% clinically tested probiotic extracts and superfoods.

Whilst the financial details of the deal  have not been released, Procter & Gamble said Tula will continue to operate independently following the acquisition with current chief executive Savannah Sachs leading the business.
