ProCook has teamed up with the Woodland Trust as it looks to mitigate its current carbon emissions as part of its long-term sustainability strategy.

The retailer is taking part in the Woodland Carbon scheme which helps organisations reduce their carbon footprint by locking up unavoidable carbon emissions through the planting of trees.

In addition, ProCook employees will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and join the Woodland Trust on crucial planting days throughout the year.

The retailer has reduced its carbon emissions through a number of initiatives which include partnering with DPD for carbon neutral parcel delivery, operating an all-electric fleet of company vehicles, switching to LED lighting and operating a zero waste to landfill policy at its headquarters, but will mitigate all further emissions through its Woodland Trust donation.
