Just a few days after opening its UK biggest store to date in Nottingham, Poundland has confirmed that it will launch an even larger shop in Stockton-on-Tees on 26 February.

Situated at Teesside Park, the  site will span 19,000 square feet and will be over three times the size of an average 6,000 square foot Poundland store. It will also offer a large PEP&CO clothing and home department on a 5,500 square foot mezzanine floor that will be accessed by an escalator and lift.

The shop will offer products from Poundland’s usual categories including food and drink, home and pet, entertainment and stationery, but with more choice than ever before.

The PEP&CO  home department will include the latest 2022 ranges, including new kitchen storage options, bathroom accessories and soft furnishings, as well as a collection of houseplants. It will also offer a range of small domestic appliances such as toasters, kettles and irons.

Teesside Park will join the growing number of Poundland stores offering chilled and frozen food and it will be one of around 20 stores across the country selling fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as a selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Meanwhile, a food-to-go area at the front of the store will enable customers to pick up a takeaway coffee from a Lavazza self-serve bar, and snacks and pastries from the Poundbakery.
