Naked Wines saw its total sales increase by 6% on a constant currency basis to £159.3 million in the first half of its financial year. On a reported basis sales edged up 1%.
The company said the uplift in the six months to 27 September was driven by strong repeat customer sales retention, although this was partially offset by lower new customer sales when compared to the previous year, which benefited from Covid-19 lockdowns.
Pre-tax profit came in at £1.3 million versus a loss of £8.9 million in the first half of last year.
