Majestic Wine is stepping up its expansion plans with a target wish list of 76 new stores across the UK.
The retailer has opened new shops in Haywards Heath and Godalming in the south east of England in the past month and is now eyeing further UK locations despite a surge in costs.
Majestic was acquired by Fortress Investment Group in 2019 for £95 million. It currently has 201 shops across the UK.
The company has also reinstated tasting counters in its stores to enable customers to test out new wines. These had been removed under its previous ownership.
