Marks & Spencer is calling on customers to donate their pre-loved clothing to Oxfam via its long-standing Shwopping scheme as people embark on their post-Christmas clear outs.

According to a survey by the retailer, two thirds of its customers are planning a New Year wardrobe reorganisation this month.

For the first time, customers will be rewarded with a treat for donating items to the scheme if they are signed up to the M&S Sparks loyalty programme and scan the QR code on the box when they drop off their clothes at any M&S clothing store. The treat will then appear in their Sparks hub.
