JoJo Maman Bébé has posted a recovery in sales after it benefited more customers visiting its high street stores due to the lifting of pandemic restrictions.
In the year to June 2022, the retailer’s turnover increased by 13% to £70.9 million while EBITDA rose to £3.85 million from £3.41 million a year earlier.
Meanwhile in-store sales increased by £11.7 million, although online revenue declined by £3.9 million on the prior year. Online sales accounted for 55% of the retailer’s total business in the year compared to a previous 66%.
During the period, JoJo Maman Bébé developed a personalised gift wrap service and also extended its product range to include unique new third party gift brands. In addition, it launched a collaboration with Start-Rite for the production of JoJo Maman Bébé shoes under license.
