Hotel Chocolat has announced that it is to close its online sales channel in the US.
The company said it will end direct-to-consumer sales in the country through its website. It will also be exiting the in-country warehousing and fulfilment support arrangements.
However, Hotel Chocolat said it will still be exploring the future development of wholesale opportunities in the US market.
The company announced earlier this year that it would be closing its US stores and halting its joint venture in Japan.
In July, it also warned that it would post a statutory loss for its 2022 financial year after incurring costs relating to discontinued operations and the closure of the US stores.
