DFS has announced that its chairman Ian Durant will step down at the conclusion of its AGM on 4 November.
Subject to his re-election to the DFS board at the meeting, Steve Johnson will succeed Durant as chair on the same date. The news follows the conclusion of an externally led recruitment process.
Johnson joined the DFS board in December 2018 and is currently the chair of the remuneration committee. He has considerable retail experience having previously held several senior roles with Asda and Matalan.
