DIY retailer Wickes has appointed Carol Campbell to the newly created role of retail director.
Campbell is due to join the business on 6 January, she will be responsible for all retail operations across Wickes’ 230+ stores.
Campbell has worked in retail for over 20 years and most recently served as vice president of central operations at Walmart Canada. Prior to that, she worked with Woolworths Group in Australia and spent 12 years at Aldi in the UK in a range of store operations and corporate roles.
In her new position, she will report to Wickes chief operating officer Fraser Longden.
