Boohoo has appointed Alistair McGeorge as a non-executive director.
He has succeeded Brian Small as the group’s deputy chairman and will act as interim chair of the audit committee until the search for an additional non-executive director is complete.
Currently chairman of The Original Factory Shop and East Imperial, McGeorge has worked in the retail sector for over 30 years. His career has included a stint as chief executive of Matalan and he has also previously served as chairman of fashion retailer New Look.
Boohoo has also announced that Neil Catto has stepped down as an executive director after nearly 12 years, the majority of which was spent as chief financial officer.
