Amazon is to fund 300 new apprenticeship roles in the next 12 months across 250 small and medium-sized businesses and partners in the UK.
The move forms part of the online retail giant’s £8 million investment since launching its Apprenticeship Fund in 2021.
The new roles will be funded by Amazon in small businesses and organisations selling on its store, Amazon Web Services customers, creative industry partners and local authorities through the company’s apprenticeship levy.
Positions will be available in a range of areas including digital marketing, visual effects, cyber security and more. The apprenticeships will last between 12 and 48 months and will include a mix of on-the-job and classroom training.
