500 workers at New Look are at risk of redundancy due to the fashion retailer’s plans to cut the night shift at its Staffordshire warehouse.

The company has told 1,200 workers that the warehouse  in Newcastle-under-Lyme will only operate a day shift from later this year. Although New Look will be looking to add an extra 300 workers to the day shift, 503 staff members remain at risk of redundancy. A consultation period has now begun with a final decision expected in May.
