Technical Assistant
Tesco Ireland are currently seeking to appoint a Technical Assistant in our Trading Law & Technical department. The key purpose of the role will be to assist the Trading Law and Technical Team through the development and tracking of key performance indicators and new product data.
You will be responsible for:
• Producing accurate and useable key performance indicator data.
• Managing counter tickets for the technical managers
• Sending out clear and simple communication to managers.
• Assisting suppliers.
• Tracking local suppliers.
• Raising POs for the technical team
• Providing accurate timely data to the business.
• Challenging the team to make things simpler for stores.
• Tracking all time related tasks so that they are completed on time.
• Managing the complaints responses and platform for the team.
You will need:
• Relevant third level degree (Food Science or similar)
• Experience of previous administrative work in a similar role
• Keen interest in progressing to Technical Manager Level
• IT Skills – specifically MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint
