Senior Buyer - Meat and Seafood
An exciting and unique opportunity has come up for a senior category manager – across meat and seafood with a global food group.
As a senior manager, you will be leading from the front heavily involved in the selection of product that will set you apart from competitors. Being present, you will ensure the shop floor teams have incredible product knowledge, able to move the departments forward. You will be responsible for financial analysis working with the experienced merchandising teams, including developing promotional materials. Managing key relationships with suppliers will be important to develop the right product to the floor in a timely manner, as well as being able to negotiate margins.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive category management experience mainly with meat and seafood product. You will be highly commercial and analytical, with a track record of progression in previous roles. Having excellent communication skills is essential to be able to develop both internal and external relationships.
In return there is a highly competitive salary up to £70,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and stock options. Also you will be part of a vibrant and ambitious office, who value good company culture and team development.
