Online Strategy Manager
As a Strategy Manager I translate the strategy into action, implementing relevant plans brilliantly. I typically lead and / or support projects, or I am a subject matter expert. In this role I am responsible for the overall Online strategy and delivering a number of strategic projects to help Online meet it's 'North Star' ambition.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and supporting projects to define new strategic propositions for Tesco Online based on customer needs, market trends and opportunities to increase sales & profit growth.
Delivering and optimising proposition projects; including customer management, programme management and financial performance to deliver against the long-term and annual business plans.
Interrogating internal and external data to identify trends and business opportunities.
Undertaking market analysis to understand standard methodology and translating into Tesco context.
Financial modelling to assess size of prize of opportunities and long term growth prospects.
Evaluating potential return on investment of strategic propositions against agreed metrics to support prioritisation in business and technology plans.
Collaborating effectively with a number of teams including Finance, Fulfilment, Customer, Technology, Commercial and other Online Development teams.
You will need:
Understanding of Online business models and economics
Strong strategy and proposition development as well as analytical skills
Ability to bridge between critical thinking and pragmatic implementation
Strong project and customer leadership skills
Good commercial savvy and understanding
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Advanced analytical skills
