Junior Merchandiser - marketplace and partnerships - FTC

Working under the guidance of the Head of Marketplace & Digital Partnerships, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser or existing Junior Merchandiser to take on a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and growth of the department.

This 12 month maternity cover position offers the chance to play a key part in driving website performance, working closely with host partners and their own website. You will be responsible for maximizing sales, optimizing performance, and influencing the merchandising strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver accurate, consistent reporting to support business objectives.
Analyze sales and profit data across both Partner and internal websites, identifying opportunities for growth.
Forecast sales, track performance against plans, and provide actionable insights.
Drive sales by spotting trends, risks, and opportunities, and working closely with the Head of Marketplace & Digital Partnerships and merchandising teams.
Provide insights into stock opportunities, influencing allocation strategies across brands and product categories.
Contribute to the development and execution of sales and markdown strategies.
Assist in seasonal planning and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Address any stock or sales issues in partnership with external collaborators.
Regularly communicate with partners, attending trade calls and meetings to align on goals.

Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail or online merchandising environment, ideally with experience working with multiple partners.
Strong commercial acumen and numerical skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability and a focus on delivering solutions.
Analytical mindset with strong communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
