As junior merchandiser you will take responsibility for your own product ranges, working closely with buying teams to plan and prepare sales and stock plans. You will liaise with buyers, the distribution center, the channel merchandising team, stores, and suppliers, forecasting profits and optimising sales volume. Your responsibilities will also include updating the WSSI, managing sales strategies, presenting insights to senior management, and controlling stock levels across various channels.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in merchandising and strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel. You should be adept at identifying key trends and opportunities in line with customer profiles, with experience in team management and presentations. Strong communication skills are essential for building cross-functional relationships, along with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
