Junior Garment Technologist

This long standing, respected supplier to the UK high street are looking for an assistant to join their womenswear technical team with at least 1 years' industry experience.

Collaborating with the department of technologists, perfecting the fit of womenswear multi-products, you will help draw up garment specifications, completing thorough risk assessments and taking all garments through the sealing process.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the fit sessions, fit reviews, and production sample reviews
Write comments during fit reviews
Measure samples, check construction
Assist with grading across all categories
Liaise with suppliers about labelling and ticketing requirements
Requirements:
Someone who is incredibly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload
An understanding of pattern cutting, garment construction and manufacture
Experience in liaising with suppliers
Good computer literacy with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
The ability to flex within tasks as and when needed by the business.
Experience in a similar role
Great attention to detail and communication skills required to manage working relationships across multiple departments
