Senior Buyer - Ambient goods

They are seeking an experienced Head of buyer to lead their ambient category, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of their premium product offering. This company is dedicated to offering the finest natural and organic products, combining outstanding customer service with a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing.

As Head of Buying, you will be managing grocery, ambient, and health & well-being categories. This position with oversea the strategy and will have exposure to talk panels internally and a key figure with supplier relationships. The role manages a team of 8 who will need to be developed and expertly guided through to larger positions. Reporting to the commercial director, you will influence long-term strategy, drive profitability, and play a key role in business expansion over the next three to five years.

We’re looking to speak with a Senior Buyers or Head of Buying from a food ambient background. We need a strategic and commercially savvy leader with proven experience and the ability to build on the success of this company. You’ll be a natural problem solver with a forward-thinking mindset, eager to push boundaries and drive change.

The basic salary is up to £95,000 for the right candidate and a competitive bonus scheme. There are also generous share options and benefits with the opportunity for future growth.
