Head Buyer

Our client is a leading retailer renowned for offering the highest quality natural and organic products. With a strong focus on sustainability, ethical sourcing, and exceptional customer service, they are now looking for an experienced senior buyer/head of buying to take the lead in their ambient category and shape the future of their premium product range.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the grocery, ambient, and health & well-being categories, reporting directly to the commercial director. You will drive long-term strategy, enhance profitability, and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth plans over the next three to five years. Leading a team of eight, you will provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction.

We’re seeking a commercially astute and strategic leader with a strong background at senior buyer, head of buying, or category manager level. You should be a proactive problem solver with a forward-thinking approach, eager to drive innovation and transformation. As the company enters an exciting phase of expansion, this role offers the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team while shaping the right buying strategy.

The package includes a competitive base salary of up to £95,000, plus a performance-based bonus of up to £14,000 per year. Additionally, there are generous share options and benefits, with significant potential for career progression.
