Head Buyer

Our client is a market-leading retailer dedicated to offering the finest natural and organic products, combining outstanding customer service with a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. They are seeking an experienced senior buyer/head of buying to lead their ambient category, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of their premium product offering.

As ambient head of buying, you will be looking after grocery, ambient, and health & well-being categories. Reporting directly to the commercial director, you will influence long-term strategy, drive profitability, and play a key role in business expansion over the next three to five years. There is a team of 8 that you will lead and manage.

We’re looking to speak with a strategic and commercially savvy leader with proven experience at senior buyer, head of buying, or category manager level. You’ll be a natural problem solver with a forward-thinking mindset, eager to push boundaries and drive change. The company is heading into a period of strong growth and are looking for this head of buying role to grow the team, developing their skills and looking at the right strategy.

The basic salary on off is up to £90,000 for the right candidate. There is a bonus structure offering up to £14,000 pa.
