Dispatch Manager Nights

Our Knightsbridge based Dispatch team are looking for a Nightshift Dispatch Manager to support the ever growing dispatch function. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest packing standards and the timely delivery of all orders purchased in-store at Knightsbridge.

About the Role

The jobholder will be the first point of communication for the dispatch department between the hours of 11pm and 7am and is responsible for ensuring a productive team at all times.

Duties include –
• To review standards regularly, and to conduct activities to ensure the continual
development of all members of staff. This will include monitoring of performance, coaching and training of staff.
• To organise rotas and to ensure that there is optimum staff coverage for the
department.
• To ensure that all members of staff adhere to the Company’s Business Dress Code.
• To ensure that Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Delivery figures and reporting
• Van fleet delivery routes and reporting. To check driver productivity and take necessary follow up action when required
About You
• You will have experience managing, developing, and coaching teams, with a focus on people leadership.
• Demonstrable experience in overseeing inbound receiving and warehousing operations.
• Familiarity with stock processing, replenishment picking, and ensuring accuracy and speed in fulfilling customer demands.
• Experience in managing attendance, absence data, and implementing initiatives to reduce absenteeism.
• A proactive approach to Health and Safety (H+S), ensuring the safety of all staff and the smooth running of operations.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of identifying and driving operational enhancements.
• Experience in reviewing processes and implementing effective solutions to improve productivity and operational performance.
• Ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day operational demands.
• Ability to engage with and influence multiple stakeholders across the organization.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to managing operations, with the ability to handle competing priorities.
