Buyer

Our client is dedicated to offering the finest quality natural and organic products, combining exceptional customer service with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility. They are seeking a skilled senior buyer, for meat and fish, to join their central London team.

As the buyer, you will will oversee the meat and fish category, managing product range development, pricing strategies, and supplier relationships to achieve annual commercial targets. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven buyer to enhance and grow the category. Responsibilities also include driving the sales strategy for both counter services and prepacked meat and fish products.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience as a buyer within a fresh foods environment. You’ll be a highly motivated and innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset, eager to bring fresh perspectives to the business. Creativity and a willingness to challenge traditional approaches to food retail are highly valued. Prior experience managing butcher or fishmonger counters would be a strong advantage.

The position offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000, an annual bonus of up to £7,000, and share options worth approximately £3,500 per year. The office is situated in central London offering lovely facilities. Holiday entitlement is 33 days and there is a 25% staff discount.
