Assistant Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant manager to join a homeware retailer based near St Albans. This company is known for its beautiful things that are well-made and built to last. Offering products to complement the whole home.
The role involves accountability for leading the team, alongside the store manager, to achieve store sales targets, KPIs, and budgets. As the successful candidate, you will oversee the training and development of your team, make strategic commercial decisions to drive profitability, and firmly establish the store within the local market. You'll ensure the highest standards of customer service while leading by example on the shop floor.
Ideally, your experience will have been gained in an environment where customer journey is the focus. Training and coaching the team in this aspect is key. The ideal candidate will thrive on driving KPIs, maintaining excellent standards, and demonstrating a passion for people management, communication, and team development.
This opportunity offers a salary of up to £28,000, and quarterly bonuses. Benefits include 33 days holiday, death in service, and medical cash plan to name a few.
