Supermarket giant Tesco has made a welcome return to TV advertising with an important new ad campaign focusing on helping customers and re-establishing its ‘Every Little Helps’ tagline.
Over the weekend, the first two adverts were shown which follow a new Tesco family going about its regular shop.
Group brand director at Tesco, Michelle McEttrick, said: "For the last year we’ve been putting customers right back at the heart of everything we do, from improvements in customer service, to launching our new Brand Guarantee. So this new campaign presented us with the ideal opportunity to showcase some of those ‘little helps’ we aim to provide customers with each day."
The new campaign was put in place to launch in time with the improvement Tesco has working on over the last year, with the first advert reinforcing its Brand Guarantee scheme which offers an instant price match at the till and the second advert focuses on its ‘one-in-front’ customer promise.
Ms McEttrick added: “Tesco has always been at its best when putting customers first and we hope the new campaign demonstrates our efforts to serve customers a little better every day. We’re really excited to hear what our customers and colleagues think of the new campaign.”
