Very Group has posted strong quarterly results with group sales rising by 3.9% to £484.1 million.
In the 13 weeks to 2 October, sales at Very increased by 9.6% to £403.8 million, although sales at Littlewoods declined by 17.7% to £80.3 million.
The group said the biggest sales growth was seen in the fashion and sports category where sales were up 14.5% after trade was boosted by a strong performance from womenswear high street brands and casual wear for men and women.
