H&M is to launch its only UK store in an outlet setting this spring.
The shop at Affinity Staffordshire will span 7,000 square feet and will offer customers a fresh way to experience the international brand.
With sustainability at the heart of H&M’s business model, the store will offer the brand’s garment collection and recycling service. Launched in 2013, both schemes enable customers to donate any unwanted clothes and textiles, by any brand, whilst shopping in-store. All donated items are recycled with 0% going to landfill.
News of the H&M letting marks a strong start to 2022 for asset manager Global Mutual following a busy 2021 in which 20% of the total Affinity portfolio was let to new brands. Global Mutual completed 31 deals across four outlet schemes with retailers such as Crew Clothing, Saltrock and Next opening new stores.
